tony, i have 2 pretty bald Eagle F1s you can have for free. they are in my attic, size is 275-40-17. they prolly have like 10% of tread, but if your just need something to get by for a few more months, their yours. at work, i also have 2 295-35-17 Hoosier track tires, they are worn from road racing but im sure they still hook like a bitch. if they fit on your wheels, theyr yours too. otherwise ill keep my eyes out for some decent used tires if you want them. or just buy like sumitomos, theyre dirt cheap new.

How are the sumimotos? The tread looks just like the nexens on the one tire, and I heard the Nexens were junk.
I think I'd be getting some Falken or Kumho... Or any decent tire I can afford lol. I haven't heard anything bad about them so they might be a good choice for your car Tony.

Ran them on 16s when i had my v6 bird back in the day, wasnt a bad tire for a DD.

I'm runnin g-Force T/A KDW NT's On my car, they are a little more expensive but its one thing i dont go cheap on when it comes to tires.
They wear really good and are good in the rain.

ill tell you, you will love the nittos on a weekend/dd car. for track only, i wouldnt suggest them, but for a fun car that could use better traction and not totally die in the rain, the nitto drag radials really are a great tire. the KDWS arent bad, however keep in mind you will sacrifice dry performance for snow/rain as they are an all season tire.
