PISSED!!
Well as you all know my car is in the paint shop getting painted.. Well they wanted me to bring my new rims over to them because they wanted to put them on the car and take pictures before it leaves the shop.. So I got my rims and tires and took them out to Walmart(big mistake) to get them mounted and balanced.. When I picked the rims up I didnt really look at them close and took them straight to the paint shop..
Well today my car is done and painted so they were going to go put my rims on to take pictures.. Well the lip of the rims is all torn to hell, theres weights on the outside lip, and the tires arnt put on in the right direction.. Oh im so pissed.. Now I have to go pick my rims back up from the painter (30 min drive) so I can take them back to Walmart and ***** at them to buy me some new f'n rims! This is ********!
But my cars painted and Ill have some pictures as soon as I get them for you all!

Sorry to hear that. I used to know someone that worked at Wal-Mart in Cambridge and had the oil changed on his 83 Bonneville. When he went to leave the parking lot his engine seized up on him. Turned out that when they took the oil out they forgot to replace it I always thought thats why they call it an "oil change". The sad thing is the engine they replaced it with was off balanced or something because when he took the car up to a certain speed the car always started shaking really bad. Maybe they left some parts out when that job was done too. I saw an ad in the paper not too long ago too for mechanics at that store and I found out you don't even need to be a certified mechanic to work there too.

This is why I avoid wal-mart. You shoulda took them to Discount Tire of something like that. But yea you better get some free rims from them since they ****** yours up. Best f luck to you Derek. Cant wait to see the car pics though.

wal mart is ******* gay.. i hate going there so much.. everyone there is a tard. I only try to go there once a year, when its too cold to do an oil change... which happened to be this past weekend. Its the cheapest place to do it so I go there.
But yeah that is way weak dude... They better fix that **** for you... stupid asses.

Im sorry to tell you this Pearl, but since you didnt notice it when you left the shop, they are going to claim you messed them up. There is the smallest chance in hell that your going to get them to pay for anything.

They are calling Lingenfelter to ask them of a place that would refinish wheels so they will pay for the wheels to be fixed.. They said they will fix them up to MY standards..

Man I'm glad they are fixing it for you properly! I like hearing when companies do that. But now I know where to not bring my car when I need stuff done. Not that I would bring it there in the first place.
