You can make a more efficent setup with a single proper sized turbo, but you can also ahve a smaller turbo which spools up quick to a bigger turbo to spool that one, but its a waste.

of course it can be done.

You can quad charge an inline four if you wanted to. Is it usefull? Probably not.

A propperly setup sequential twin turbo inline four would be bitchin though. You could make gobs of power.

Anything's possible with money, but its pointless.
With the amount of $$ you'd spend on a TT setup you wouldnt get that much noticble of a gain.

its possable but the turbos would spool up really slowly... on gettin exhaust gas from 2 cylinders... if you run a single turbo u will get boost faster

The whole purpose of a twin turbo, is to try and eliminate turbo lag, by using two smaller turbos. Most I4's are FWD, so the last thing you want, is full boost at 2000 RPM. All you get is wheel spin. If it was say, a 240, or 180sx, or lets go with a WRX, then it'd be useable.

With the right setup matched to the engine, it can be better than a single.

I have seen sequential twin setups make far more power with less lag than a comparable sized single turbo.
