My truck would hardly turn over one day after it got hot and set for a while. The next day I drove to the store, and the motor got up about 190* which is normal, I went in and came back out. When I tried to start it it just clicked. Wouldn't turn over at all. I called my dad and he came and jumped it. The short trips back and forth to town weren't allowing the alternator to replace the energy being used.

Replace your alternator, imo. The added weight of your stereo could be causing it to drain batteries?

haha.. I did earlier this week. I was waiting until I bought some extensions and had more time.

Ill test the alternator this weekend and see how its running.
