question about buying a modified car that failed etest
 

Im looking at buying an eclipse with a lot done to it, the problem is that it has a conditional etest right now. meaning its good for the guy who owns the car, but id have to get it etested. If i buy the car, and it fails the test(which it will because of the massive injectors and big ass fuel pump), what will happen. The car is FAR from stock, and ive been told that if the car is modified that they cant properly test it, so its a pass anyways. Does anyone know anything about this? thanks.
