Hey guys well im looking at selling a car too one of my girlfriends friends. I was just wondering what I should do. She does not have the full amount and is looking at putting about a third of the price down not and paying the rest in payments. I was just wondering if I should let her take the car and just write me an IOU or if I should keep the car until she is all done paying it and ill just write her a receipt. What would you guys do? I just dont want to get screwed

depends.. its always best to get things in writing, that way theres no misunderstandings in the future..


.like when she rear ends someone and doesnt feel she should pay the rest of what she owes you cause her mom said the rear view mirror was dirty and it was your fault
