s10 blazers are sh*t
my dad had a 95 blazer and went through 2 trannies with it...he finally sold it and decided to buy a 99 blazer and this thing has been given him nothing but problems since he got it...it p*sses me off so bad cause as soon as one thing gets fixed somethin else goes. i dunno, u guys know if all blazers are junk or did the old man get 2 lemons...

Mine has 80K and hasnt gave me no problems... Norm. maitence, It has had the tranny replaced but thats cuz my sister ****** it up... the last thing that went was my Transfercase vacume switch which was a 18 doller dealer part.

mine has 180,000 miles original trans transfer case and engine, the only thing that's been replaced was the injector spider sounds like he got lemons or is off roading (4x4 does not mean off road there is no off road vehicle sold today that rides even close to decent)

ya i hear ya, the blazers aren't really made to be an offroad beast, the zr2 maybe... but if i was going to get any 4x4 i would look for an old cj5 (like an 80) with a 360. jeeps don't have the smoothest ride but they're awesome offroad and the 360s sound incredible with headers and glasspacks

I still like the ford off roads package that is just a decal for the side of the truck, and states in the paperwork not for offroad use, when I say off road I don't mean some trail I mean you better have a winch

Yeah, I want an old CJ-5(though I'd settle for a CJ-7). I want like a '76 or so. I love the older Jeeps, and I like the new ones, too.

they're both real nice, they're pretty much visually identical, the 7s are a little longer i think. i like the new jeeps (wranglers) besides the fact that you can't get em w/ a 304 or 360.
