When I had the motor pulled out of my car and it sat in the back of the shop forever, it did this too.

But one of the new guys was like "DAMN, nice car! It looks like it's accelerating even when it's standing still!" I looked at him and said "That's because there's no motor in it, the front suspension is unloaded."

I think I made him feel a little dumb.

i think the reason i dont like them is because those rims are like anti-lip. the spokes extend further than the lip.

All the things Norice mentioned are supporting mods that you do if you want to replace it all and get it perfect.

If you just want to lower it, grab some Eibach Pro-Kit springs for 250$ and install them in a couple hours. Easy.

Thats just the thing... Id rather do it right the first time instead of having to go back in... so thats now out of the question... Im not dropping over a grand on that now as much as Id like to do suspension. Ill be getting my stereo and hood long before I drop my car.

Negative, I have those and yes they are very good and the drop/stance is near perfect for an Fbody. I dont think there a 2" drop though

very nice paar.. i decided to go with the 245/40's all the way around so i could rotate the tires... but i knid of wish i had gone with the 275 rears or all the way around with em..

one thing i also have noticed with mine, since they are (no-lip) wheels, the rear wheels tuck extremely far up under the car, I have since added a 1/4" spacer to my rear wheels to fix some of this but I am still not happy with it.

I am going to move the 1/4" Spacers up front and go with 1/2" Spacers in the rear to give it the agressive look again..

Now not to hijack your thread but I have a question, all this lowering talk, anyone ever thought of raising the rear end of their car. My cars rear is naturally dropped about 3/4" due to the weight of the stereo setup. This is killing the look/stance as well as all of my braking. I dont think I could just lower the front to give it the stance back it needs without doing anything to the rear. I know they make risers/spacers to put under the springs to raise the rear end for better tire clearance for drag cars. A set of these would work nicely but im afraid it is going to get too high and look bad...

opinions?

I thoguht about this when I first got it... I wanted to do it, but know nothing about it. The wheel spacers are a good idea... youll have to take some pics and let me know how it looks.

eh the 1/4" spacers i put on just slide on the studs before the wheels do and everything bolts up normal.. about 8 bucks a piece at a local shop.. but they didnt do near enough in the rear... now the problem im having is to do more than 1/4" safely you either have to buy 5x120 - 5x120 1/2" adapters to just be used as spacers (they run about 80 bucks).. or put in 2- 1/4" spacers and install longer wheel studs... which is kind of a pain as well and i havent been able to find any. ill let yo uknow what i get it all worked out
