Mint inside and out

My question is id have to sell my Black one
Do I or Do I not???

and what could I get for it?

(ahh i cant believe im even thinking about this)

Mike Jones 09-12-2006 12:25 PM

I'd go for it.

But I really don't know what you can sell your LT1 for. I'd check out CamaroZ28.com's for sale section as they are mostly LT1 guys there and see what they are going for.

94ta383 09-12-2006 02:51 PM

I wouldn't sell your LT1, just buy the LS1 and have the best of both worlds

97z2801ss 09-12-2006 02:59 PM

lol if i had the money to do so

69z-28 09-12-2006 03:18 PM

swap interiors. i cant stand tan interior on a sports/muscle car, just IMO tho. otherwise thats a dead sexy car. how many miles on the midnight car tony? and are there any problems with it?

97z2801ss 09-12-2006 03:35 PM

80K on midnte and no problems you know that things really never driven hard!

paarman97maro 09-12-2006 07:05 PM

FORCE_FED_Z 09-12-2006 07:10 PM

good luck with the choice tony.

97z2801ss 09-12-2006 11:19 PM

yes still debating, ill get pics up soon of the hot rod guys..
my cardomain has a few nothing recent though.

archemedes 09-12-2006 11:54 PM

if your happy with your car now, save teh money and get some mods, buying a new car is a great feeling until you realize you have to make pyments for that much longer (no payments feels really good)

97z2801ss 09-13-2006 12:02 AM

mm I mean i could sell my car and pay for that one and prob have a few dollars left over arch.

MeenZ28 09-13-2006 12:51 AM

Tony, I'd do it. Tan interiors aren't bad. I've seen some tweeked with a black and tan scheme and it doesnt look too bad.

I dont really like tan interiors either... I could really only tolerate them depending on the exterior color, although I still dont like em much.

97z2801ss 09-13-2006 01:51 AM

we'll see
imma see imma see
let u (aka the fam) kno as i kno;)

MeenZ28 09-13-2006 01:56 AM

Aren't the hugger orange camaros rare? I think it'd look sweet with black stripes!

One of the rarer colors but not really rare.
I like them with white stripes.

2000v6cam 09-13-2006 04:09 AM

of course i would definatly get it if i had the choice cause i want a ls1 so bad i just never have the money and plus im really attached to my car even though it is a v6, but i dont even know what lt1 ur talking about ive never seen it i dont think

I wouldn't be so sure you can get alot for your car it is basically a 10 year old car, when cars hit that age the value drops like a rock your looking at getting about 4-5k for yours really. Just trying to be realistic, if teh guy is selling that for less than yours is worth what is wrong with it since it should be worth more

97z2801ss 09-13-2006 09:15 AM

dah well we will see

BLACK ICE 09-13-2006 10:09 AM

I would do it however I am not you and I am not attached to your car. My advise to you is weigh out the pros ang cons of each car and try to keep sentimental stuff out of it. Thas how I ended up trading my 72 chevelle for my 91 RS most people would say im stupid for that but I dont have any regrets suprisingly enuf. I know you will make the choice that is right for you :)

Drake 09-14-2006 12:52 AM

To be honest man, I like your LT1 a whole lot better......but the LS1 is nice also.

That tan interior would have to go though, orange & tan just don't mix. :)

Mike Jones 09-15-2006 12:47 AM

completely agree with you there. I don't like tan in pretty much any color, but def. not with the orange.

97z2801ss 09-15-2006 01:40 AM

we'll see guy hasnt called me yet
gettin doubtful:(

97z2801ss 09-17-2006 11:42 PM

nix carfaxed the junk for me.....

as he put it

"Here is the info you requested... STAY THE FVCK AWAY FROM THIS CAR, grab a garbage can and get ready to puke... This car has been junked and has a SALVAGED title, you dont want to have anything to do with it."

Guess Ill keep my car n stick more money into it ohh well not a bad deal at all haha

paarman97maro 09-17-2006 11:49 PM

salvaged title and he wants that much for it? what a shiithead

97z2801ss 09-18-2006 01:33 AM

he said cars mint but i dunno its koo man

either way

Didnt loose nething just kno that carfax is my friend:)

archemedes 09-18-2006 03:46 PM

be careful with carfax they screwed me once said my car had a clear title, a year later the state comes back after doing research and it was totaled in Ohio and brought to MI and retitled. they only report if the info goes to the dmv, and the state reports it (a few don't report title info for some reason) Some states (Utah) will retitle a car with another cars title if you bought a part from it and have teh titel from teh other car (retitle your car with one from ebay that wasn't reported totaled)

FORCE_FED_Z 09-18-2006 05:45 PM

Also- it doesn't count accidents that are payed with cash. My first car ended up being in an accident at some point. My body shop guy surprised me when he told me someone had already been into the front end. Whoever did it did a super job because you couldn't tell until you took some of the paint off and there was a different color primer than factory..
