was thinking

ok, ive got that 92 camaro and were going to put about 4 grand into it , supin it up. But my question is aprox. how much would something like a 94 V8 camaro cost? And about wht are the hp specs and quater mile times for it?

thanx for ur time

ryan

u can pick up a 94 for pretty cheap, like anywhere from 4-6 grand i'm guessin. hp is 275 torque is somethin like 315-320 and quarter mile is mid to low 14s

69z-28 06-16-2005 09:29 AM

i got mine for 5 grand. has 120k on it, runs really good, looks pretty nice and my best time was a 14.1, with shitty tires.

you should definatly be able to join the sheep(seems like if your under 25 and have a camaro 4th gen is the only option) for the money you'll spend doiing your third gen and then want to start from scratch

ryann 06-16-2005 09:38 AM

so wht are u saying? .... i dont get it.

archemedes 06-16-2005 09:39 AM

for the money you will spend modding yours you can start over with what everyone else has

ryann 06-16-2005 10:06 AM

but the true question, do i want to go w/ wht everyone else has, or do i want to be diff.

idk, wht does everyone else think

archemedes 06-16-2005 10:20 AM

I'd stick with what you have, figure adding the 4 grand to the new car too (you know you'll do it)

ryann 06-16-2005 10:58 AM

yea...thats wht i'll prob. end up doing is stickin w/ the maro, its also my first car so.

camaro94 06-17-2005 12:00 AM

stick with it. It's a nice car.

the only reason I have mine is because it was what my dad picked out for my grad present. We had looked at a couple of nice 3rd gens that spring but they were abused. I'm lucky, I almost ended up with a Neon. Same color as my car. But the guy would only give my Dad $500 trade in on his Bronco, so my dad told him to go to hell. One week later, my car was sitting on a lot, my dad mentioned it, and I said it looked pretty nice, even though I hadn't been that found of the 4th gen style. 2 days later, and it was at home. :D

I am generalizing when I say that though

I know ;) I'm a late 2nd gen gal at heart, though.

JimmyFrance 06-17-2005 02:12 AM

its because 4th gens are the best looking ones after 1st gens, and first gens are pretty hard to find, so 4th gen is the best choice.
