hmm, funny how it seems like everyone here got there car from there parents... Is that true?
How many bought there own car for money you worked for?

I bought all but 2 cars in my entire life and I've had probably close to 100 different cars pass through my possession, and I think the 4th gen is by far teh worst looking generation

agreed, except some of them lke chads for instance, that looks nice. But stock they're ugly

I had an advantage with work my grand father owned a farm and always needed help, worked there until I could drive ( and some after for motor money)

i dont really like the 67-68's, or the later 2nd gens, or the early 3rd gens. and im still trying to decide if i like the LT1 front end better or the LS1. either way a camaro is a camaro and even if its a v6, you can still put a big block chevy in it :)

archemedes 06-17-2005 10:23 AM

all the third gens really looked alike slap some ground effects on an '82 and it's really close to the '92

i worked for mine... My dad may have bought it, but since I got straight a's my entire school career, and took care of everything in the house, that's why I got it. I did the bills, balanced all the money, cleaned the house, etc... I may not have went out to get a 'real' job, but my Dad didn't want me too. He'd rather I earned my money by doing everything in the house.

I like all the generations about equal, with the exception of certain years that I just didn't like at all (70-73 Camaro are my least fave, for example) But I tend to like Firebirds more than Camaros...

NCamaro94 06-18-2005 11:04 PM

dad bought mine, but i pay gas and insurance. The only mods i didn't pay for were the seats and wheels.

JimmyFrance 06-19-2005 12:03 AM

Yeah parents bought mine :) Lucky arent I. Im sick of people coming on ehre thinking they are awesome because they bought their own cars, id say at least half of them wish they didnt have to and are just bitter.

archemedes 06-19-2005 12:18 AM

ok maybe I'm bitter that so many parents are too stupid to see that thier kids are spoiled brats and have no concept of working for something

ryann 06-19-2005 02:29 AM

eh, but if ur n my case , w / divorced and military parent, then theres exceptions
