What size of wheels are you using?

87RS 05-19-2006 01:19 PM

16 by 8 rime and i dont know the tire size of fthe top of my head

Tire sizes: I like 255/50ZR16s myself, 245/50ZR16 would be a standard size for a 16x8 F-Body wheel. The 255mm width gives it a little extra beef.

Brands: Depends on the money. See TireRack.com for pricing, AND they have reviews on many of the tires they sell from actual customers, which is always nice. I personally recommend the BFGoodrich KDW.

tirerack is good, or go on google and search. i found a few independant tire companies with excellent deals on good tires.

i think you can get white letters on pretty much anything, most tires have all black on one side and white on the other

Not really, most of the new tires these days dont give you that option. The ones im running now are the BF Goodrich G-Force Sports. Black letters both sides. Good tires btw - i recomend.

They do sell them tire pens if you want to color the lettering on them if it is a big thing for you, i used to do the lettering on my quad tires and it held up, so im sure it would work for yah.

you'd be surprised...almost half of the tires we stock have white lettering.

and that comment about the 255s giving it more beef...dont forget the 5 mm of extra height ;)

actually, I had a hard time finding ones with white lettering, too. So I just settled.
