time for tires any sugestions

well my back ones are bald (cant figure out y) and the other night i checked my front tire pressure with the pump at the gas station and it said i had 25 psi so i brought them both up to 35 like i aways do and when i was driving home i noticed that there was a very violent shaking in my front end and my tires looked like rocks so i checked it with my own gauge and it read 65!!and that thumping was a blown steel belt in my front drivers side so any wasy i need new tires any sudgestions?? im thinking of going back to bfgoodrich radial t/a's buti was wondering if there where any better ones for around the same price??

Tire sizes: I like 255/50ZR16s myself, 245/50ZR16 would be a standard size for a 16x8 F-Body wheel. The 255mm width gives it a little extra beef.

Brands: Depends on the money. See TireRack.com for pricing, AND they have reviews on many of the tires they sell from actual customers, which is always nice. I personally recommend the BFGoodrich KDW.

i think you can get white letters on pretty much anything, most tires have all black on one side and white on the other

Not really, most of the new tires these days dont give you that option. The ones im running now are the BF Goodrich G-Force Sports. Black letters both sides. Good tires btw - i recomend.

They do sell them tire pens if you want to color the lettering on them if it is a big thing for you, i used to do the lettering on my quad tires and it held up, so im sure it would work for yah.

you'd be surprised...almost half of the tires we stock have white lettering.

and that comment about the 255s giving it more beef...dont forget the 5 mm of extra height
