i know the meanings of the numbers i just didnt know that you cant fit any tire on any rim..... i jus wanted to have an idea like if have a 8" or 8.5" can i put 275 on it

For a 275/45 its recommended that you run a 9" wide wheel, an 8.5" will work, but will cause a bit more stress and heat (not to a dangerous level though).

I went up to Vegas last night and picked up the tires. This morning I had them mounted and balanced. I have to say that they do not look as bad as I thought they were going to. They definetly fill in the fender gap much better. The guys down at the shop said that they will be just fine for quite awhile. Here are some pics for reference :

The American education system is a joke. Half your population can barely read by the age of 10, yet you're suggesting that / (which is the mathematical operator for 'divide' when ÷ is not easily rendered, such as on a computer) is taught in Kindergarten?
