what is the widest tire that will safely fit a 9.5" deep wheel?

275/40 fit, and I think if you do the BFH mod you might fit 315's.

315's won't SAFELY fit, you'd have to take it really easy on corners and whatnot, or the tire could come off the rim. Most seem to go with 275's.

You surprised? Haven't you noticed over the last few years how all the engines are now in liters instead of cubic inches?

Not at all really, noticed how theyre all in liters yes, but theres a few, like the new LS based 427

The LS7 is about as much as a 427 as the 5.3 liter engine in the trucks is a 327. Chevy just used the 427 number since it connects with the older people who can actually afford an LS7.

k now thats getting dumb. no 427, new or old, is 427 cubes. they always round. LS1 is 346, they round to 5.7.
