here's the Avons: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ech+M550+A%2FS

I wish I knew what the brand was that i had on the old 17s. All i know is that they say Tech 4000. But they were cheaply priced, and have been great for the price.

if i could find any around here in my size that wasn't over priced, that would be great. But its impossible. I just want something(if I have to) that will let the car get inspected this summer, and hold out till xmas. If I can't, I may as well put myself in debt to get them. Of course, if I could get rid of the old ones that would help me get some new ones. :sigh:

Check the bigger boards, I'm sure you could find some for a good price.

I haven't yet. The only time I've found them in my size is when they are still attached to the wheels, and the seller doesn't want to seperate them.

How much can you spend, Danielle? If you can gather up $200 more you could try haggling Discount Tire down on the price of their tires... just tell them you weren't looking to spend over 500 and see what they can do.
