Un Probleme

Hey, i have had this problem for awhile now, and i was wondering if you guys maybe know what it is. If i am going to spank a ricer in my probe, and i get on it reeally hard, the power steering occaisionally gives out, then a click, then comes back on. It is reeally annoying, especailly if i am doing my own little road course . I have checked the fluid level, madee sure there are no leaks. I have also replaced the belt, and retightened it. What do you guys think, could it be the pump itself?

Why can't you bash other peoples thread that deserve it.

Sadly I do not know the answer to your problem Cory.

Ditch the ps.

Dude, why would you post something like this? If you have a dumbass opinion keep it to yourself, this is a perfectly fine question, and i am looking for an answer, not an asshat remark.

Try running a different power steering fluid. Dodge Caravans use a thinner fluid. Maybe your power steering fluid is too thick. It's easy to change, but if you want your mechanic can probably to it cheap for you.
If you want to do it yourself, put the car on jackstands. Loosen the power steering line going back to the pump. Have someone start the car and crank the wheel both directions, until fuild stops coming out. Then shut it off immediately. Retighten the line, and run some power steering flush through it. This is available at Crappy tire. Then repeat loosening the line etc. After the fluid is clean, refill it with the thinner fluid. Check with your dealer if you're not sure about the fluid, but it should be O.K.
