with the ****** weather we have been having i decided to not put any of my new parts on it yet since it has to sit outside and they will all be exposed until i get a new bed. my dad wont let me keep it in the garage. so im just gonna save my money probly till a little after christmas and order a lot more stuff than i was going to right now. save me money on shipping in the long run as well.

just bought a new battery the other night. i thought i could trust my friend hooking it up in the dark of the back yard and he hooked it up backwards...absolutely nothing works on my truck now. bunch of smoke came out from somewhere around the distributor. there goes more money i dont have right now to fix that ******* problem. sucks cause i just put headers on it that same night and it sounded badass. i just realized that im going to be like 50 years old by the time i finish this truck so im gonna pull the engine and trans and rid with the rest of the truck. oh yes. its f-body time again. lookin for another turd gen for a couple hundred with a solid body. my truck was fun and everything but i just dont have the patience for it anymore. one problem leads to another. i buy somethin to fix a problem and it leads to somethin else related to it breaking. so im just gonna keep this engine and build it for my next car. pretty excited about all this actually. glad i didn't invest much money in this.

Like I said earlier, that truck was going to be a PROJECT...but at least you learned a lot..
When you pick your 4th gen- get one with a SOLID body that you won't have to worry about..IMO changing out a drivetrain/suspension is A LOT easier than replacing body panels. But thats prol mostly because of what I have worked on mostly. I wish I knew how to do body work better, I could save myself some money.

swapping engines and doing body work is about at an equal skill level for me depending on the extent of the project. i really hate doing body work but i can and will do it to save myself some dough. and i am definetaly gonna get a rust free car. ive had my share of rust buckets and they just get worse and worse haha. i found a 3rd gen...91 i believe. its white, rs, t tops. pretty much all i care about getting is t tops. i dont care if its a v6 or not since ill be putting a new engine and trans in it. car looks really nice but they didn't have a price on it and it was raining so i might go get the phone number tommorow for it.
