Hey guys, i need to get carburator fixed for my car ( Pontiac Trans am 84), any v8 professional guys in GTA ? who can do it for me.

whats wrong with the carb? needs to be rebuilt or just some alterations?

i guess i need to rebuilt it ,, cuz it takes very long self when i start it in morning, especially when its cold and it does miss fire when i run it for like few hours.

yeah you are looking at a rebuild in that case then, you could address only those issues but while your going this far you might aswell. I am not sure how mechanically inclided you are but i would say that you should try and give it a shot yourself with a legitment service manual. I am not sure if this is something you want to tackle but it certainly can teach you alot of things. There are alot of oldschoolers out there that i am sure can do the rebuild for you. I would ask around through any private shop and see what they have to say. If they can't do it i am sure they know someone that can.

The rochester quadrajet is a very common carb and there are alot of mechanics still around that should know how to rebuild them. Just ask around some of the local garages.
If you really get stuck for finding some one, I know a few guys here in Hamilton that are good with them.
