from what i know after talking to a guy who tunes alot of the fast cars from another board im on, that spray kit wont really do you much good on the street and youll only see big results on the dyno. which if you think about it makes sense. my idea is to spray into the inside of the intercooler where the air is flowing from the turbo.
im pretty sure this has been done before

some of those ca18's didnt have a bov, but had a peashooter turbo, which obviously somehow got away with not causing any damage, since countless number of turbo cars have left the factory like that.
you might have seen some ATX turbo cars run without a bypass or bov, because they arent as prone to such severe or common throttle on/off motions.
from what ive heard, and imo, ntercooler is a waste. ive never personally used it, and never will, but from what ive heard, its more bling than anything else. your intercooler, depending on its quality, can do some very efficient cooling once at speed. usually the only time it heatsoaks is when youre sitting there staging or standing at the line for a while, which imo, if was such a big concern, just have someone open a bottle of nitrous and give it a quick spray over the ic in your final moments of staging, which youve probably already seen done countless times by turbo cars at the track.
no matter what youre spraying into the intake tract, you should be doing it after the intercooler, not before.
spray nitrous, it will bring intake temps down. if you dont want to run nitrous, spray meth, which you mentioned youre already doing, and meth itself will bring down intake/combustion temperatures down considerably.
plumbing straight co2 into the intake wont be nearly as effective as the cooling effect of nitrous or meth.
if youre running a decent fmic and meth, you should be fine. anything else is past the point of dimishing returns until you step up to water-to-air ic's
youre better off looking for gains in other parts of your setup. intake manifold, head work, do a lot of research into choosing and setting up your cams properly for your power goals.
otherwise, more power is just a bigger turbo and extra bit of boost away...
as for forums. supraforums, dsmtuners, among those already mentioned.

I totally agree with you! I haven't personally tried the ntercooler, but from what he is looking for i its the closest thing to doing the job. Intercoolers efficiancy rates are high anyways ... i would say 70% + with variable being based on core size, ambient temperture, and intake temperature. I can see how the ntercooler setup may be useful for staging or launching, but while in movement i think its purpose dimineshes. Regardless i am sure it works, but not the best bang for buck. I think what the guys are right on this one.... focus on some other mods or increase boost.

not running your turbo out of its efficiency range is also a great way to ensure youre keeping IAT's down
but again. meth is a great cooler. why do u think so many pro import turbo cars that run on meth dont even use intercoolers, its just not neccessary with meth. if you run meth injection thats quite a bit of cooling in itself. thats why many turbo cars can get away boosting their turbo out of their efficiency range when running meth injection, not the best idea, but its proven to work, i.e. gt35r's being pushed to 40psi with meth

wicked great replys thanks guys. jake good info, ill stick to just the meth and the fmic and run that then. you alreayd know whats done to the car so i dont need to post it up here for everyone to see and yes there is a bigger turbo coming my way for spring time aswell
the ca18 i was refering to is a fully built motor with a turbo thats nearly the size of my head, lol, running just over 2 bar, cant tell how much higher because the guage only reads to 2 bar and it pegs that so i was trying to figure out how he was getting away with it not causing any damage.
but this is lots of good info, some i knew some i didnt.

If your getting a bigger turbo, then you shouldn't be all too worried about your IAT's, as they will most likely drop. But out of curiosity, how are you IAT's now?

i havent had a chance to check them, dont have the hptuners hooked up to the computer yet but i will as soon as its tuning time. they shouldnt be too high, my ic is fairly efficient and the charge pipes are always cold under the hood. although i am looking to get a new guage, cant remember the name of it but its a 2 1/16 guage that plugs into the scan port and gives reading of knock, temps, timing anythign the computer reads itll show me

oh i realise that, trust me, the benefits from meth are good enough for me. i ran some c12 last summer and the car ran like a champ, but my god for a street driven daily drive car its jst too damn expensive to keep using, lol. i nearly filled the tank and emptied my pockets to do so, lol
