Got What are you looking for for trades? Just for the record this isn't the classifieds, but we can have a discusion here. I've personally, got a MK1, MK2, and a MK3. After the MK3, VW stopped making cars.

Vdub stopped making cars after MK3's? Nope I think you ment something else. But while we are on the subject of Vdubs I have to buy a car within the next two weeks and thinking of either a Mitusbishi Eclipse GST with 65,000kms or a MK3 Golf with 90,000km. I have already owned a MK3 VR and loved it just the gas was an issue. I have always had love for the Eclipse thats what makes this a hard decision. So I know Rabbitman might be a little biased and thats expected, but Im really torn between the two. Any thoughts anyone? Anyone have an Eclipse GST and would like to share anything about it e.g. Maintenance Costs, Repairs, etc. Thanks.

If I was going to race, I'd start with the Eclipse. If I was going to build a street car, I'd stick with the Golf.

Nope, that's what I meant. The Mk4, and MK5, just don't do it for me. The new Rabbit is ok, but still, I'll take an older VW anyday. And yes, I'm biased. LOL

LOL..Thanks for the help guys I really liked to Golf VR but always wanted an Eclipse, Im hearing that Eclipses need alot of work done to them Maintenence wise. Then you have this whole crankwalk issue. Is someone who has an eclipse or knows someone that has a GST model could you ask them to PM me or respond in this thread. Thanks Rabbitman and drift_n_shift for the advice.

I'm going to go with mks09 on this one, as I really have no idea. I've never put a body kit on a VW, and am never likely to do so. I'm an OEM look person. Well, aside from the Zender 3 peice Rabbit spoilers.
