Unhappy 69 302 convert

I am having charging problem in fact no charge at all.
Altarnator was checked, putting out 14.5v I have tried both regulators,
the sealed transsistor type and the large blue one with mech relays still
nothing.
It seems I have only three terminals been used F, S, A nothing on I term
my 72 has all 4 terms
Does any one know what wires go where
If I connect a test light from I term on reg to power I get 14+ volts at the Batt.
Any sugestions would be appreciated.

battery is toast ? If you're getting output from the alt but the battery isn't holding a charge at all, maybe one of the cells broke and are grounding ?

I am going to agree with 2tone, if the battery has a dead short then it won't charge, you also will NOT be able to Jump start the car either.
