Exclamation 95 Golf GTI Vr6 Timing Chain went.....

Hey people, first time doing this but really need some help from others right now, if you can.......What do you think makes more scene rebuild the engine or fine another engine and $$$ what is more reasonable?????
Help please, anyone!!!

What's the mileage? Chances are, if you're going to pull the tranny, and do the chain, you may as well do the clutch, head gaskets, and if you've got the time and cash, port and polish the heads, and put cams in it. That chain is a pain in the ***, and it's a big job.

yeah but i cant imagine what another vr6 would be worth so it might just be cheaper to rebuild this one
