The Cobra Man on a Camaro forum?
Whats up PC. I am new to posting, but have been checking out the site for a while. I learned about this site from my beautiful girlfriend Stephanie (1hottcamaro) . My choice of cars over the past couple of years has been Mustangs, but I have owned nine Camaros in the past, with most of them bieng Third Gen Irocs (commence bashing!), I gave up the gold chain and mullet for a cocky Mustang guy attitude, lol. Since getting with Steph, my interest in F-bodys has grown again. I am not really into many of the body mods that is commonly done, I'm more of a function over form type of guy. I like the clean lines of a stock SS. After me and Steph are done with the swap in her car, it will be pretty nasty...it has some well chosen mods picked out.
My two cars are an 03 Cobra and an 88 lx Coupe, Ill post some pics and mods later.
My car in its current form
On the 19"s......Can you say: No traction!
My last F-Body (for now)

I recently took the Cobra to the track, on the first run I bogged to a 1.98 60 ft and the rest of the pass was clean running an 11.72 @ 123.9. On the next run I tried to launch it hard and broke the stock GT 8.8. The moser 31 spline axles arived today, hopefully the carier will get here soon. Mods are full exaust, ported blower, 8lb lower pulley,55lb inj, solid 8.8 w 3.73s. No dyno #s with the longtubes and the ported blower yet, (put down 446 and ran an 11.76 @ 116 before). In good weather and track prep it should atleast do an 11.2 with a good 60ft. I have an N/X kit converted to a dry kit that will be used after a re tune to get it solidly in the 10s.
The Coupe has a forged 331, AFR165 heads and an S trim, it put down485/481 on the stock pulleys. I took the car to the track once and the clutch completely let go in second, and slipped in third, running a 11.65 @ 125. The clutch issue has been taken care of, so some new times are in order. I think that it has a 10.90 @ 127 ish. If it dont get into the tens in the trim that its in, I have an 8" crank pulley to replace the 6.87 for a few more lbs of boost.
I'll post the pics after the big 15 posts.
