Ls1s are 346 ci so the 327 is either a typo for a 427 or and a 5 speed wont bolt up to an ls1 diffrent bolt patterns.... if ure readoing a rearend why not just a 9inch or a 12bolt.... ?? anyways.. good luck with that project....

nope its not a typo ladies and gents, its a completly custom thing, you just have to know how to do it all, i'm keeping it all a secrete untill I unveal it. :D

it's a detroke, makes more hp than a stroker, just a little less torque(typically), and revs like mad. A stroker is good for heavy cars, a destroker is good for light (again typically)

nope wrong again, its not a stroked or destroked anything, told you secrete till I unviel!!

considering gm didn't build one, it's either destroked, or not an ls1 (it would be a custom block maybe based on the design which I haven't seen anyone doing yet)

The only LS based engine smaller then a 346 is the special high reving 302 that was built to honor the 1967 302 engine. It is quite easy to make a 325 cubic inch (yes 325 not 327) LS1 though, just use the bore and stroke from the 5.3 liter truck engine or better yet just buy an LS4.

I was thinkin an 5.3 litre out of a truck...
