First of all, "Welcome to the site Bud"! I've had three 67 Camaro's so far, none of them were convertibles though. The reason I say, so far....... because my Dream Car is a 67 RS/SS, and I'll do what ever it takes to own one before my time is up!!!

If you get an extra minute,...check out the "List" of Chevy's that I've owned, in my introduction page. It's just a few down from yours titled "New from the Seattle area". If you start from the beginning of the post, it explains a little bit about how it all started.

Later ~

thanx for the war reseption fellas.....quick update..

im going to use this thread to update my project......no pic's till its done, and i get a dot com to show off the restoration...

if tony*the guy selling me all my parts* ends up getting this camaro ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting )he will give me the cowl/vin/tittle of this shell, seeing as he builds these and sells them without the vin/cowl tags, for a direct replacement for who ever buys the done shells,.. so if all gois well, ill throw these tags on my 69, 711/72= black interior/hugger orange rs.....so when i clone it as an ss/rs, nobody can say its not an ss...seeing as there is no (ss) code....hopefully we will be chopping up my 69, and bring the parts to his house where the jig and everything is, and we will start thowing it togather, with his jig that will take under a week, while my 69 is there hes going to slap on all new inner and outer wheel wells/quarter panels.as well as this ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-68...temZ8037974496 )while my 69 is at his house getting panels installed, if he wins the auction for the other 69, im going to let him use my storage space, since my 69 will be at his house, getting all fixed up, and ill take the tags off it,...rs/ss.... and when my 69's done and we tow it back down to the storage, we load up the one he gets off ebay(i hope)...he takes off with that one and my 69 will be back in my storage, with ALL new panels installed...thats when ill seal up all the edges, and slap the rs tags on the body....and what do you know....new body.....69/ss/rs.711/72..black interior/hugger orange..

...i need to,

(1)..remove both rear quarters
(2)..remove trunk panel
(3)..remove whole floor
(4)..remove all rockers
(5)..remove firewall
(6)..remove all rear wheel wells
(7)..remove tail panel

thuse leaving a shell that will weighs about 200 pounds....i have the inner structure, i can blast it and por 15 it, then set the skeleton of the body on that undercarage he made, and it will be on his jig so we can just build it from the ground up....with a good jig it should take under a week...

HERES THE BEFORE PIC, WAIT TILL YOU ALL SEE THE AFTER!!!!!!
I ALSO PRINTED OUT THE PAGE AND FRAMED IT.....
