New guy from the states!

Hey guys! I am new to this forum!

Over the winter, I have been gathering parts for my project, a Vulcan powered 1997 Mercury Sable GS. I finally started getting things installed and working this weekend. Here are some things that I have added:

NESHO Front Strut Brace
SHOBros UDP Pully
Sticker City rear tail light lens
Door Panels that match my swapped leather interior
New detail from Thomas Auto Detailling in Livonia
New Comet emblems

Stuff still in the box:
8000K HID kit
11.6" Lincoln Mark VIII brakes

All of this stuff goes along with my SCT Xcal 1 box with 3 tunes (economy 87, 92+ Premium and 94 Ultra Premium), 16" Directional Taurus SHO rims, SHO Springs, SHO 23mm rear swaybar, ASC powered moon-roof and leather swap.

I also have some videos posted:

This video is me vs. a GEN3 SHO. I had this guy out of the gate pretty good, but of course, SHO power was a little much for me. It was someone who happened to be at Lapeer when we were there. He wanted $4200 for it...

This other video is some speedometer sweeps. They are pretty random, the last one goes to 95MPH, when it shifted into OD. The car wanted to go more, but I wasn't packing a radar detector.

Visit my site to learn about the car http://www.fordaspire.com/page3/comet1.htm.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Sounds like an interesting project! I have heard of the Contour guys doing the 3.0 swap, but this is the first I have heard about the same swap with a Cougar.

Good luck with it! Yes, I am lost. Someone sent me here.
