I just wanted to say Hi, And what a cool web site. I have a black 94 LT1 Z28 stock no modifications what so ever. My wife and I bought the car used in 96 it had 36000 miles on it. In 2000 we were having a baby and I needed a family car. I wanted to keep the camaro but the stroller wouldn't even fit in the trunk area so I traded it in. It was the right choice at the time but we sure missed the car. A coupe of years ago I saw it at a used car lot. Who ever bought it had it for 2 years and put 12000 miles on it. Not to bad! The only change was they had the windows tinted. The next day the car was in my driveway. I didn't even tell my wife I bought it back. It was the best present I could ever give us. I will never let that car go again. After 133000 miles its still A blast to drive.
Now time to make the car come alive. I need to rebuild the auto trans in it, and I also bought the first Mod for it. I got a real good deal on some hooker (short) headers for it. Ill wait to put the headers on while the tranny out getting rebuilt.
Is it very hard to get the transmission out? I'm going to tackle this job in a few months I have to get my race car ready for the next season first. Its a 70 nova I run super stock with it, It has a 327 with a 4 speed jerico in it. It fun to turn the motor 10000 RPMs and then dump the clutch!

Now that sounds like a story of commitment. I'll be the first one to tell you,...never get rid of a car that you love! Welcome to the site Bud! I have to say,.... your story brought back some fellings about wanting old cars back. I've certainly had a few that I regret getting rid of, and if you get a moment, you'll have to go look at MY introduction page, which was only a couple of days ago. It's the one that say's: "New From the Seattle Area".
Follow the story there, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Anyway,...I'm glad you got your car back, and we're all glad that your here, so welcome to the site!

welcome and what a story. that looks like a nice Nova in the pic i dont regret selling any car, but i regret being stupid and going to fast when i crashed my 93 Z. i loved it so much, only had it for about 6 months but it was an absolute blast. i had a bunch of stuff planned for it and i planned to keep it pretty much forever if it was possible then i made a stupid error of judgement and now i have a 97 trans am. you live and learn, luckily in your case you were able to get back what you loved. would love to see some pics.
