New member with a 1998 Sunfire.

I have only done light interior mods and some audio mods.

I'm running a 12" Infinity Reference sub
6.5 Infinity Reference Door Speakers
Rockford Fosgate Mono block amp
JVC 420 Deck(replacing soon)
Viper 2 way Alarm

I have painted the Dash a red metalic colour with White accents and I have added a few lights.

I am going to change the engine but I'm not sure what I'm going with yet.
If I could do anythingv I wanted I would drop an LS1 in it and switch it to rear wheel, but I dont think that's possible.

I've been told that I'm wasting my time and money by doing a Sunfire but I want to be original and have a car that really stands out.

See ya on the boards,
Taylor Fenwick

you can do a rear wheel setup but generally it costs alot so people dont do it. if you are willing to spend that much, then do your research and go for it!

I actually don't have any pics.

My front left fender is dented(thanks to who ever hit me and took off) so it's not much to look at.. just a stock white sunfire.

The amp wiring isn't hidden yet either so it's not much to look at either.

I searched google and couldn't find any info on a RWD conversion. I'm thinking of calling Caravaggio Corvettes and seeing if they'd do it and how much if would cost.

search for rwd civics. tagracecraft used(?) to have one. civic is the same FF setup as the sunfire so you can see about how much work is required give or take

I think that GTX is just a bogus tag that some dealers put on the cars to leech of the GT. It has GTX on the headrest and the interior is a nicer fabric than most of the sunfires I've seen. it also has AC and a "premium sound system" but I took the stock system out... When I get a kit and a new engine I'll remove the sunflower badging and just put GTX haha.
