If you really want the car louder the cheapest way would be to buy a cutout. But if you want a new catback I'd suggest either the SLP Loudmouth or the Texas Speed Rumbler. I've had both and have been very happy with both.

Welcome to ProjectCamaro Bud!! I hear ya on wanting the exaust louder, I have a flowmaster as well and like the way it sounds, but with having a stock motor, it just isn't loud enough! I have a friend with an SLP Loudmouth Catback and it sounds mean as hell.

welcome. if you plan on keeping stock manifolds, maybe check out a nice y pipe and an SLP loudmouth exhaust. serisuoly.... i raced an LS1 T/A that had an SLP y pipe, and loudmouth with stock manifolds and cats still i think he said, it was louder than my LT1 with headers, offroad y pipe and a bullet dumped before the axle. something about those LS1s, it doesnt take much to make em sound really crazy, however there's a point where they actually will sound really raspy and crappy.

you can get an electric cutout but they are known to have problems espiecally if you drive the car year round and they are a hefty chunk of change. or you can get the ones with the caps and wingnuts but then you gotta crawl under neath the car to open it. how much do you drive the car?
