Whats up?

How's it goin? I'm a newbie to GT CARS. I've been into muscle cars for about 15 years. I've had a few 2nd gerenration Trans/AMs and a plymouth Roadrunner. I also have a bunch of vintage 2 stroke streetbikes. For the last few years I've been into lifting and modifying Suzuki's for offroading. Currently I have an 86 Suzuki Samuri with a spring over and 31" tires and a Sidekick I'm thinking of cutting the IFS suspension out and putting a solid front axle with leafs and 33" tires.
lately got started thinking about streetcars again and what I could build. I'd like to drop a 5.0 Mustang drivetrain into a Sidekick and lower it. Would be a total sleeper. I love what you guys can do with turbocharging these days. Been reading up on turbo theory. I'd like to take a crack at making my own turbo kit some day. The hard part for me would be altering the compter.
At any rate I'm happy to find the site. I was looking for something canadian and with alot of GTA area people. Cool site!

Actually right now I only have the two Suzuki's and my bikes. The bikes are vintage Yamaha Rd400's. They are light 400cc two stroke wheelie machines. Really fun to drive and insurance is cheap. With it tuned right you can easily spank a newer 600cc sportbike in a drag race. I also have a newer Yamaha RZ350. I did a spring over on my Suzuki Samurai. It's got about 4" of lift right now with 31" tires. Got so many ideas for cars in my head. I like to build something that will apeal to Muscle car guys and import guys.
I have a silent dream to put a 5.0 Mustang drivetrain into a lowered Sidekick. The beauty is a Sidekick is full frame so it can handle the power. I'd like to do it with a 2 door but a 4 door is nearly the same wheelbase as a mustang. So the with a little fabrication it would work. A carb would be easier but a newer fuel injected 5.0 would be quicker and pass an E-test. I think it would be cool to rice it up tastfully. Lower it a bit, maybe a ground effects kit. Nothing too flashy. Nice rims and rubber. So it looks like all show and no go untill you hear the rumble and lumpy cam of the 5.0 under the hood. Open the dumps and have it open headers. You'd scare off alot of wannabe street racers. I definately respect turbo charging and what it can do. I'd like to fab my own turbo kit up one day. I just think this would be an inexpensive car that would appeal to the muscle car guys and the ricers alike. Either that, or everyone would think I'm a dork.... I just might do it.

This is not the way I'd make my car. This one is drag only. I'd like something with some handling too. But this one's pretty cool. 10 second Chevy Tracker!

I had an 84 Mustang 5.0L. I really like all cars. Anything that goes fast. Cheap ways to make power interest me. Making my own turbo kit from scratch interests me. But for now the 5.0L is the way to go. Power from a v8 is cheaper than a $4000 turbo kit on a 4 cylinder.
