I have a 1993 honda accord 2.2 liter with 167,000 miles.















When I turn off my car my brake lights remain on. I check the fuses and the bulbs. Does anyone have any suggestions? Your response will greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Check the brake switch. It should be above your brake pedal. The switch is hanging in the closed position and needs adjusting or replacing.

There is a switch connected to the brake pedal and it sticking.Replace it with a new one.One pin and remove the wire and replace in reverse.

maybe the brake is sticking

try checking if the little rubber pad for the brake switch is still there highly likely its gone cheap stuff for dealer about a buck doubt it if its your switch
