Not at all That car will go a lot longer than that. Hondas are very reliable cars

you might as well put a down payment on a newer model, used honda & spend a few thousand more. (:

Honda's tend to be pretty good cars. If i was you i would get the VIN number and see if it has been in any kind of an accident. have a very well qualified mechanic look at it. look the car from top to bottom. check for rust and other problems!I personally would not pay that much, but who knows. The owner could have taken very good care of it!

The price is high for the amount of miles on it. It also slightly depends on what area you live in. For $5000 I would expect that car to be in great condition with no more than 80,000 miles. In my area that car would sell for $3000-$3500

Thats alot of miles, I got my Acura Integra 2001, With 70k miles for 3000 Bones, I have no issues with it what so ever, i suggest you keep looking. Honda's are great cars dont get me wrong but it seems overpriced, for a 98. Good Luck

i really dont think you should buy because with that much mileage the only reason it isnt completley broken down yet is because its a honda, but it wont be long.If you have a steady income then you ight want to consider putting down a down payment on a new car or leasing one. youd be much better off. If not keep looking for better used cars try to find the newest and least used car as possible and highly recamend not buying a used american(brand) thats more than 5 years old because no matter what anyone tells you the really dont last as long, Anyways good luck on finding a car and be sure not to rush innto somthing like this
