changing tire (94 honda accord) help!!?
I am trying to change my tire on my 94 honda accord but i jack it up take the lug nuts off and then try to pull it off, but it doesnt move at ALL! there is something in the middle of the 4 lug nuts that i think i might have to remove but i would need a huge socket... can anyone help me? thanks

There SHOULDN'T be anything other than the 4 lug nuts that you have, holding the rim on. Try a couple of sharp blows with the palms of your hand at the top of the tire, vehicle securely STABLE, of course. It's probably just seated on the rotor really tight and needs a good smack. Don't use any tools, you'll scratch your rim. The large nut in the middle of the wheel is the CV-Joint, or the axle, and must not be taken off unless y're doing maintenance on that particular part. good luck.

when you remnove the lugs on the tire you should be able to remove the tire. somtimes the tire will become siezed to the hub in this case hit the tire not the rim with a hammer( a fairly larger hammer. the tire should come off. when putting the rim back on it might not be a bad idea to put some anti-siezeon the hub. to stop this from happening again.
