Diesel powered Honda Accord?
Apparantly these have been selling in the U.K. and Europe since 2004. Honda plans to introduce them to the U.S. Market in 2009. As an engineer and mechanic I have great respect for Honda's design and manufacturing capability so I'd expect their diesel engine to be well designed, efficient and reasonable to get serviced. With only a few exceptions diesel cars haven't done too well in the US but I predict this will change as more auto manufacturers begin offering them and they find their way into diesel-electric hybrids.
