Apparantly these have been selling in the U.K. and Europe since 2004. Honda plans to introduce them to the U.S. Market in 2009. They get 50-60 MPG.Would you buy one?Anyone in Europe had any experience with them? Like them? As an engineer and mechanic I have great respect for Honda's design and manufacturing capability so I'd expect their diesel engine to be well designed, efficient and reasonable to get serviced. With only a few exceptions diesel cars haven't done too well in the US but I predict this will change as more auto manufacturers begin offering them and they find their way into diesel-electric hybrids.
