Headlights on 99 honda accord coupe constantly burning out!!?

In the past 4 months i have changed both the driver and passenger side headlights twice. I know this is not normal and i cant beging to imagine what the problem may be. The brights work fine..it is only the dim lights that i have problems with. Please help!

Two things to check are the ground wires from the headlamps (although having bad connections on both of them would be strange, unless the strap from their ground point to the engine is bad), and the voltage regulator. If the alternator is putting out too much voltage, the low beams would go before the high beams, because you probably use them more. (That will also eventually burn out a lot of other things.)
