how do manually adjust the ignition timming on a 1999 honda accord 2.4?

Is there a way you could do it with the distributator and with out taking apart the belt

Yes,just use a timing light,clean off the dirt from the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley,hook the timing light sensor lead into the # 1 cyl.spark plug wire,red lead to Battery positive terminal and black lead to Battery negative terminal,loosen bolt on distributor just enough to move it,aim your timing light at the crankshaft pulley with the engine,adjust it to where the sticker under the hood tells you to adjust it. Then tighten the bolt back on the distributor. Good Luck!
