The headlights generally burn out one then the other, fairly close to the same time, but it is possible for both to go at once. BUT, check your headlamp fuses, your headlight switch, and your dimmer switch. These all 'could' be the cause of both quitting at the same time, however you could have that one in a million that both quit together.

Good luck. If you can't find a reason and it does it again, check with your dealer to see if there are any recalls about this problem.
