upgrade as in performance?always start with the engine :Pput further mods on it, check into Canadian Tire or, wheel wizards and such, furtur shop, um... lots of places have different car parts and such, if you wanna go cheap and used... im sure some scrap yards carry some performance parts from cars that have been impounded or destroyed ina wreck but still have some awesome parts in them.most people buy a pro exhaust and then up grade to a cool air intake or they wold modify the body to fit a bigger engine in it. thats what i did. then i got it painted and its just beautiful! and it rides like a dream :P this being an 2003 Acura RSX

I would start out by puting an exaust on it then get a AEM cool air intake then find a place that can make turbo kitt for your car or just buy a turbo kit for it and buy headers for your car.

First off good job choosing a good base for a projekt. honda accords are infinitely tune-able.Now obviously the most apparent hinder on power is bad maintenance give the car a good tune-up (plugs, filters and such)throttle body spacer and intake are the most effective and cost-worthy methods of boosting a cars gumption.(auto zone for the DIY intake tubes and filters VERY CHEAP!)High-flow oil and fuel filters as well with some premium synthetic oil and you're looking at about 18 or 19 more horses to the wheels.Thats the cheap way to go now if money isn't too much of a problem then supercharger all the way. although they don't offer quite as much of a power boost as turbos supes are cheaper and require a lot less labor to install.Oh and if you have a stick think about replacing the clutch and flywheel with a twin plate clutch and lightweight flywheel while it won't increase your power it will put more power on the road. the most important thing is have fun and don't die once you put all this crap on lol.
