...automatic. can i switch trannys? I aquired these two cars from my dads junk yard not too long ago. I am i fan of the old school 90-93 accords, and i also love driving stick. I had driven the wrecked 93 4dr 5-speed for about 6 months until someone wrecked it. and i always had the black on black 2dr that was just sitting there with a blow engine and auto. tranny. has anyone actually done a auto to manual tranny swap on this year of car? i have taken both cars down to bear metal on the interiors. and have found that everything would fit (shifter wise), and that on the automatic there is a bracket wear a clutch would have gone. (economy cars alright! :P ) Can anyone give me any pointers on how to make this swap easy and pain free. Just trying to make the best of 2 cars. Thanks.
