i have a 97 honda accord and the computer is bad in it. the dealer wants 815 dollars to fix it. is there a cheaper way to do this and is it worth fixing?is there differnt computers in the car or is there just one? i was looking on the for some and some of them say tcm or ecm.my car is automatic so does that mean i would need both computers or do i need to find out which one is not working.ok so i need a pcm computer for. i have an after market alarm for my car does that matter?once i get the new computer in my car will the check engine light go off or will i have to take it to the dealer and have it reset.
