Odometer problems with a 96 honda accord?

I have a 96 Honda Accord and today as I was driving it I just noticed that the odometer suddenly went from 0 to 3 to 0 to 3 to 0 to 3 really really fast. Then all of a sudden anytime I pushed on the gas it felt like I was hurting the car. I got home and now I don't know if it's safe to drive. Do I need to take it in?

The odometer is not going to effect the way your car drives it will just not log the correct amount of miles you have palced on the motor. You most likely have an eletrical or computer issue, you will have to take it to a repair shop so they can run a diag. I would go to a reputable local repair shop before honda unless you have a warrante.

Good Luck
