paying 2,000 for a 180k mile 1995 honda accord?

my friends dad lost his job as a car salesmen and he has a honda accord he'd like to seale for money.. and my friend sent me pics and it LOOKS nice, and 2k is cheap for it, but 180k miles...

dumb choice or good choice to buy?

even if it IS in good mechanical condition, would it still be a dumb choice?

see thats the thing. 180k miles is a lot of a cars life, i have NO idea how it was maintained. i could pay a mechanic to look at it, but then again you think 180k miles...even if it lasts to 250k thats still only like 80k miles. i think id be better off buying one with 130k miles for more money, or just buying a toyota camry (1995 and up) for like 4-5k with 110-140k miles

Hondas will be going after the end of the world. Hondas and roaches. I love my Honda. I say yes, especially if it is good mechanically.

I would give that only if I knew the cars history. Such as routine maintenance. Handas have one of the strongest motors produced today. If they are taken care of they will run forever and ever.
