What is causing a whistle sound in a brand new 2008 Honda Accord Sedan?

I just purchased today a new 2008 Honda Accord LXP Sedan Manual Transmition with only 29 miles and I am noticing a whistle sound whenever accelerating or I push the gas pedal. I also notice the whistle sound whenever I turn the Steering wheels either right or left. Is this normal for a new car or a break in period. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Whining noise may be the power steering system. Turn the wheels full left and then right a few times while in park. If it persists, by all means, TAKE IT BACK to the dealer. Also, don't take "it's normal" as an answer.

Good Luck.

I have a brand new 2008 Honda Accord LXP too. I don't have this whistle sound. Take it back to the dealer. It is NOT NORMAL.
