What is the difference between the hood for a 4 cyl and a 6 cyl 1995 Accord?

What is the difference between the hood for a 4 cyl and a 6 cyl 1995 Accord?
The hood of my 1995 Honda Accord (6 cyl) needs to be replaced. Parts' stores don't carry the hood for the 6 cyl model and Honda apparently hasn't released it for after-market production. Can the hood for a 4 cyl Accord be installed on my 6 cyl?
A customer of mine (I work in a coffee shop) owns a car-sales business and has a friend who does bodywork / repair. My customer tells me that the model doesn't change the hood that's used ... Is he right?

I would think the hoods would be the same. Wouldn't it cost more to build or manufacture different hoods? I consult the Honda Dealers. They should have the best idea of which is the correct information.
