1990 Honda Civic - Old Skool
Sometimes we wonder why we still fix up our cars, or even wonder why we love such a hobby. Maybe not all of you, but i do! I catch myself thinking all the time, why I keep spending ridiculous amounts of money on something that gives me no feedback, but instead leaves my wallet empty and no food for the rest of the week. Fixing up Hondas seems like a never ending process, something that will just always be impossible to finish. "Finishing my car off" has become the most over used phrase in this industry, because lets just face it, it'll never end. And for all the folks who say "I want to be different" and "I drive a civic" seems like a oxymoron. Just those two phrases seem like it would never work together, but in those very rare instances it can. And it can work very very well.
This piece of art work comes through the works of Chad Castelo. Looking through the many cars Chad has owned through the years, he's had a good share of owning different Honda vehicles, most newer than the one you see here. But Chad has built this car with the mind set that it will take honda and japanese tuning to a different level. Building a car with an "undone" chassis, and taking the exterior aspect of it to a whole new view on it. Building the car not only in the japanese exterior aspect but also putting the power to back it up. None of this came too easy for Chad, with a vehicle equipped such as this many custom pieces had to be put it to make it work and fit properly. Research and development through the help of various companies and friends who have wrenched on this car helped Chad come to where it has today. Featured on various sites, as well as Super Street, Chad has become that lonely guy at honda-tech meets, to the famous guys at car shows. hahaha... Art work can only be achieved by someone with the creative mind, the determination, and the money to back it up! The pictures will speak for themselves.
This is one original Honda Civic.
