depends what ur going for but the CL is a great all around car, its clean, its got the luxury, but also very pimp. and anything with a honda V6 is fast, with 6 speed even faster, I would definitly buy. and believe it or not, there is lots u can do to the engine if you want more, intakes, chips, headers, ect. but overall, a good pick

well i ended up picking up the car, and just love it. its pretty quick, and the 3.2 engine sounds sweet. time to start saving for some rims and get it lowered

you should try taking 2 of the 4 resonator in the car my friend did that sounded very nice
he liked it so mutch he then installed a chip and intake and 2 nice mufflers on it
it sounds extremely nice going into vtec very nice grunt not raspy at all

Hey guys just saw this forum yesterday...and in the process of looking around I found this thread..

I was the owner of a 99TL for a couple of years.. nicely modded.. Much faster than a stock TL-S or CL-S (6MT get's slightly higher times in the 1/4 then the stock type-s'). Now last year I decided to get rid of my 99TL for the 02TL-S and I can't say enough good things about this car. The luxury factor coupled with the 250km top speed, this car is a dream on the 407.. I take teh 427-407 onramp at 180 almost every day, without a concern about the handling...

Check some more info on www.acurazine.com I've been a member there for years, there is priceless info on the CL and the TL there.. Plus we've got a great local chapter that works together on modding and such..

I'll post more later I'm just heading out to getsom 3" tubing for my custom intake I'm making this weekend...
