85 prelude

I went and looked at one lastnite, good condition for the year, mind you it had minor surface rust, as the car is 22 years old, I was just wondering for some trouble spots, if there are any

its got the 1.8L 12 Valve Engine
5-Speed Manual
not sure what exact model it is

any info would be great

Thanks

yeah an 85 prelude is a really different approach when thinking about a honda. What ever floats your boat right? I would question if it has been repainted and if it was quality work, otherwise if you are 100% unsure take it to a local shop and get it up on he hoist for a better inspection.

well, I want a project car, something I can work on, I had my uncle a mechanic look at it, the only thing he couldnt check was the brakes, he spent like an hour and a half, checking everything, everything seems good, so for $500, it shouldnt be a bad project car, and it should easily pass safety

well its different, but the main problem is going to be finding performance parts for it, there are very few companies that make parts for it, and for engine mods they only headers you can buy are for the si model (2.0L), then again you could always add a set of webers on your motor
