96 Si?

Hey everyone, i was wondering if you guys knew what the specs were of a 96 civic Si engine? is it the the same as the 99-00 or is it just a civic ex with a fancy Si badge? Thanks

1996-2000 civic si have the same engine the d16y8 sohc vtec, 127hp. The 1996-2000 ex has the non vtec d16y7, 106hp. In Canada anyways.
